I wish I would have ready this before starting the Ethic series. The main character was super annoying but the story hooked me in immediately.

Though I get the point of the story I didn’t particularly enjoy this one. Is was just okay. Nothing really spoke to me or pulled at my heart strings besides her sister’s diagnosis.

I wanted to love this one and it had so much potential until the end. The ending was just weird and disappointing.

This book was filled with gems. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is working on personal development.

This story is a good one. It kept my attention and I loved the details she added about black women. I will be following this series.

This was such a quick read and I really enjoyed it. The visuals were really nice and the message is one that I wish all black girls could read/understand.

I went into this book with an open mind because this is my first time reading manga. The artwork is what saved this book for me. The stories were just okay and I was bored with a few.

I don’t typically care for romance books but Emily gets it right for me. I like how her characters don’t see unrealistic and neither does their love stories.
