This is one of the craziest books I've ever read (in a good way). Great horror, I truly felt awful for all the characters in this book. I've wanted something truly frightening, and I found it. Looking forward to reading others.

Sorry. I loved the hunger games trilogy, so much.. Katniss was amazing and fierce. But this dude is an absolute incel dick and I hated him the entire time. Cringe. I loved having a prequel to explain some things, that aspect was great but God I was so sick of hearing Snow complain about how great he was the entire frigging book. Ugh.

I thought this book was marginally better than the second, although still bizarre. The best part is that the audiobook is narrated by Tim Curry.

Everyone should read this book. I've been trying to learn as much as I can about indigenous history in Canada. This is a fantastic narrative concerning how the history of indigenous peoples fit into world history. (something I had never thought of before, unfortunately) Thank you for enlightening me.

I think everyone should read this book, if you're not an HSP - you may know someone who is. I like how this book takes a scientific approach to those who are easily overstimulated in our busy modern world and gives some practical solutions.
