The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

I thought this book was really fantastic, what would your dog say if they could talk?
Basic Witches: How to Summon Success, Banish Drama, and Raise Hell with Your Coven by Jaya Saxena, Jess Zimmerman

Cute book about self empowerment for the modern "witch" Don't expect a ton about witchcraft and read it with an open mind as it's just supposed to be sort of light and silly imo.
The Man Who Could Not Kill Enough by Anne E. Schwartz

Some parts of the book are a little slow, but a good overview of the case involving Jeffrey Dahmer from a reporter who was able to witness his apartment the night he was arrested as well as view the court proceedings. Would recommend if this kind of book interests you.
The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories by H.P. Lovecraft

I listened to the audio version of this book - I really enjoyed the narrator's voice. Sometimes it was a bit hard to follow, but all in all a good intro to HP Lovecraft. Call of Cthulhu and The hound were my favourites. :)
The Finest Hours: The True Story of the U.S. Coast Guard's Most Daring Sea Rescue by Michael J. Tougias

Lots of details about a true rescue story. I found it to be a good read.
The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin

I wasn't sure about this book when I first started listening to it ( I had the audiobook version) but it actually turned into an amazing story that I definitely recommend reading. It's a bit different from your usual Fantasy novel which is nice. And if you're into audiobooks, I really liked the narration.
