This is not your usual Grady Hendrix and I am shocked by it. I expected more of a witchy fantasy, but this is full of beautiful commentary and an emotional rollercoaster! Watching these girls come together to support each other while they are all going through the hardest thing I can imagine had me in tears multiple times. This was hitting me so hard. It’s tough being a girl, but we can do it and prevail. The only complaint is I would’ve liked a bit more magic, but the focus on these characters and their struggles moved me!
