Whitney is every Black Woman who has ever excelled in her field only to be cut down by a system and company that was jealous of her talents and thought they could get away with devaluing her without being found out. Add a creepy former Supervisor who thinks firing an employee means the dating lanes are open and a bestie launching into stardom and you've got a recipe for an anxiety spiral.

But it's cool. No one has to know what actually happened...yet. Until said ex-boss crashes the party and lets the cat out of the bag. Then it's sexy Curator to the rescue! Deep voice, exquisite taste in alcohol, and a glare that could kill. Domino's everything Whitney fantasized about...and her worst nightmare. Oh, and he's a vampire. Like the kind that suck people dry and can only come out at night kind of vampire. And she isn't here for it! Until his world further upends her own.

This was a bloody good time and an exploration in kink and magic I wasn't expecting! And lots of blood. So sexy and like, so much blood. If you didn't think this was a vampire book, I'm telling you now, it absolutely is and I'm here for it! If someone pushed me up against a window and gave me an ocean view while deep in mine, I'd be screaming all night too. And just hope my besties understand why I don't want to kill him. And apologize for all the blood. Cuz there's just...a lot. And it's hot.

An excellent follow up to I Accidentally Summoned a Demon Boyfriend! The twists and turns just keep coming (like Whitney) and make me want to know more about this chaotic universe that Cage has brought alive.

Take a bite! Trust me.
