Fun, hot read. Enjoyed it a lot. Filipino & Latinx rep. Great character development and baseball side off plot was interesting.

Hmmm...I was hoping for more! I was really excited about a character who is half senegambian as a Gambian-American myself. But the pace of the story was too fast, Nina was a bit of a brat. And how quickly she goes from one love interest to the next and important events feel glossed over. A slower pace would have made for a more impactful story. Loved the art and overall premise but wish it had more depth.

Fun enough read. Was curious after watching the movie on Netflix. It's def meant to be comic and satire . Lots of parenthetical comments and footnotes. A little too much and found myself skimming through them. More focused on drama than romance. But still interesting enough to continue with the series.

Hmmm, I really enjoyed this and yet the ending left me unsatisfied and wanting more. There was so much the characters went through and the ending felt too fast and anticlimatic. I was like, "that's it?" But would still recommend. And the guess the ending is happy enough.

Super cool and unique collection of graphic stories based on Indonesian folklores, heroes, and legends! Haven't read anything like it. I loved it so much. 💜 There's nice mix of different types of stories so something for everyone. Some are dark and heavy, others are light and fun.

Wow! This book is special. It was lighthearted at some moments, serious in others, and ultimately very informative about mood disorders in a relatable way. This is the kind of book that will save lives. Highly recommend! Shop my indie bookstore Tuma's Books for a copy. 💜
