Figured I’d give it a reread, it’s been a while. Think I enjoyed it more than I did as a teenager. Keen for a rewatch of some of the film adaptations too. Enjoying working my way through Jane Austen’s works currently.

An enjoyable and magical read. I actually cried when Dumbledore told Harry “You must have shown me real loyalty down in the Chamber. Nothing but that could have called Fawkes to you” and “Only a true Gryffindor could have pulled that out of the Hat, Harry”. I’m so excited for the next book, The Prisoner of Azkaban has always been one of my favourites from the film series.

Prisoner of Azkaban has always been my favourite film so it isn’t surprising at all that this has been my favourite book so far. I love Sirius Black and Remus Lupin so much.
