If I had thoroughly read the synopsis of the stories in this collection I most likely wouldn’t have given it a chance. I saw this book recommended as a part of a post celebrating AAPI writers. I’m really glad I picked it up because I got to read a genre I normally might not have read. The mixture of science fiction with future technologies was super interesting and I appreciated the sprinkle of subjects like nature, society, emotions and healing. Chiang is brilliant and his brilliance is shining at full force in this collection. I think my favorite story was The Great Silence. “You be good. I love you.”
