It took me longer than I expected to finish this book (the Goodreads app marks I started it this month but actually I started it last year, in November). This is partially because the first part of the book I didn't like the main character, Margaret Tudor, who appeared to me as spoiled girl... but as the book moves on and we know more about her time and life, the story grows and makes more sense. She grows, she fights and when I reached the end of the book I was asking for more...
This is a great entertaining book, passionate about the Tudors.

This really is a magical tale... I've loved every single page, every shocking twist of the story so masterly told. I loved the characters, even the darker and awful ones, and when I turned the last page I felt quite alone and somehow lost.
Highly recommended book to anyone with a desire to dream with words and live within the magic of a circus that appears during the night.
I'm in love.

This is a great book to discover the real woman behind the legend... She opens up to the reader about almost everything from her childhood to her days as a star and we can see why she is so big a star. Amazing.

It has some great bits here and there but in the end it's the same old story with the same kind of guy and the same cliches
