Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
4.75
Agatha Christie is the QUEEN of murder mysteries.
I absolutely loved this book. It was such a fantastic read, and I was constantly surprised at every turn. I thought I knew who did it, and then she made me change my mind - until she finally revealed the 'whodunit' and I audibly gasped! I certainly wasn't expecting that ending.
I loved the suspense, the characters, and the little trail of breadcrumbs that she leaves throughout the book...
I think her writing is fantastic, because she really knows how to grip an audience and give them just enough detail to keep them engaged and guessing, without giving the whole story away.
Though, I do admit that this was a little bit slow to begin with, but once the story started properly, it was such a thriller!
If you're looking to start reading this genre, I suggest picking up this book!
