I loved the magical realism, the family's lore, and its secrets. The mystery that Weaved throughout the story kept keeping me up past my bedtime. Just a very lovely story!

I really liked this book. I liked the Aunt's little mystery. I liked Lori's decisive indecisiveness of what she wanted a relationship to be. The second chance romance trope is always fun, and especially, the dropping of the name Ani Difranco (a favorite independent musician of mine). I've felt like Lori don't point in my life, and I get not settling until you just know that you know.

I DNF'd this book. I just didn't care enough about any of the characters lives.
