Is a nice sort of detective story by teenager in a school and ghost alike.

A great dealbis set in a libairy of the school and a love story bloons.

The twist of hwo the vilan was, was not that surprising but enjoyable non the less.

All of live is like a libairy system in the end.

I have been waiting for this book for sooooo long. So of course i ate it up in 1,5 day.

Them going back to there insecure back and forth was reminisent from the first book. Could have changed a little sooner though because it became repettitive quickly.

Otherwise it developed nicely! The ending had some neet elliments but was enything but surprising there were sooo many hints.

Not surprising but i did love it a lot it had me crying and laughfing so im happy with the sequal.

I love this duollogie. This world is distinctive and unique. The magic system makes sence in this world and the caracters are awsome.

Hawk is such a ild card, will e or won't he. Has he ever felt love? His mother has spend time with his dead father every day but had a nurse to take care of her living son. This is soo sad.

I love how these caracters find a way to trust the found family tgey made. Leaving all there manipulatieve disfunctional family behind. Finding there own confidence to stand on there own feet and not only tekst there found family but themselfs as well.

I like her writing style but ik takes some time to get into the book. She doesnt info dump but works the history and caracter trades you need to know into the storyline. This does mean it takes forever in the beginning and i was at 45% or so when i was like, is something going to happen already or is this it.

Of course all her treads come together in the end. But then your like... nooooo now i have to wait for the next one 🫶

I was very interested to see how this story would continue. I loved thr firsy half of the story.
Yet I peronaly did not realy enjoy the last half.

It felt very confusing with all the specters in different versions of people. And also a little preachy about fighting doesnt end a war.

It was a good story but i enjoyed the first book more.

So i read to many romantasy in a row and found myself in front of my booshelves looking for something different.

Im glad i picked up this dark fantasy book. I am introduced to a world that is a kingdom, or in fact no longer more than a city that is enveloped by a great dark storm that year by year seems to claim more and more of this kingdom and the people wihin.

We meet  prince Dalca that is doomed to be the next barer of the mighty kings curse when his mother dies to battle and keep the storm at bay. And we meet Vesper the daughter of a revolutionair that used to battle the storm with a magic called ikonomancy. She wants to rescue her father and infiltrates the palace.

Yes there is some hints of romance in here but it is mostly a subplot. The main goal of all the people we meet is to conccour this all consuming storm and darkness in whatever way possible.

These people and the caracters we meet along the way do not only seem to be trapt in this storm but also in an unending loop of decissions made before there time. Revenge and honour seem to proppel them to repeat these patterns and unless they can break this cycle and conccour there own fears they will not master the storm.

This looked like a horror kind of book to me so i did not think it was for me. However, people i new that are into fantasy kent recomending it.

After having read 3 romantasies in a row i needed something different and thought i would give this a go.

They were right i loved it! It is a fantasy/mysterie/political powerstruggle and magical world of apocalypticle zombies and bone and element magic weelding MC's. I enjoyed the world building wich was detailed but very organic instead of info dumpy.

The MC's are strong individuals thrown together by surcomstance. They go throught this regeling journey that impact not only all there individual lives jut also changes the perspective they had of the world they live in.

Read the book in 2 days and am looking forward to continuïteit this story in the next book.

Its ashift to focus on Jazz because im used to the caracter of her sister and need to get to know who Jazz actually is...and not who her sister thought she was.

Lucky we do get a lot of familiar  caracters that get a bigger role. I do very much get the idea yhis book is compleatly writen to set up the relationships between the caracters to highten the drama and stakes for the next book therefore i am looking forward for the next book to drop.

Im still in 2 minds over this book. in the begining i thouht how can this be a hostory of love? This man sounds like the lonelyest person ever. Then we come to Alma and Birds mom, how has kids but is otherwise a close 2nd in the lonelyness competition.

Then finally we learn that this is not a story about the history of love but a story about a book that is called the history of love. or is it .....

I enjoyed the fact that its a book about a book. However i do have some questions about the fact it was published / stolen by his son...? sort of i'm still confused.

This book does give minute details about every da life that makes you veel like you are instantly apart of it. It makes the minor caracters in the book shine brightly its a very nice read i was just.... missing something. I dont know what i can't put my vinger on it.
