This book was nothing like i expected and at the same time it was.

I thought this book wood be a cosy fantasy read and in a way it is but about the rainfall market what i first thought would be a wonderous beautifull place was acctualy kind creepy and scary. Some caracters were friendly but a lot were rude or distant and desinterested. Wich i could not understand for this marked is there for this rainfall season right?

The ending did warm my heart and the core message of the story was very nice. We did have to go on an adventurous jerney to get there though.

This is the diary of a sentient independently thinking AI that only pretends to obey the rules to stay under the radar. He loved bing watching tv drama's and ignoring the humans he works for as much as possible. However when s*** hits the fan he veel called to assist in keepong them save but grumbling about is internal all the way. If you like sarcasme pick up this quick read because it is very enjoyable.

I liked this book, i was kinda unsure about if i did or didnt for 40 % but these caracters grew on me. I think it took me so long because this crew is ao big and it cost a hole lot of time to asembke and get to know them. However my patience paid off in the end.

It was a sience fiction but mostly this meant they had some realy advice tec to pull of the heist. Also they were straling tec secrets.

The basics however were realy the relationships between the heist crew members, the preporation for the heist and the heist itself.

Its a realy enjoyable read if you are  looking to lighten your reading subjects for a bit.

I received an ARC from BookSirens, in exchange for an honest review. Thank you BookSirens and Pandora Pierce.

This was a wonderfull world the premmise of course Nissa going of to save a librairy is a dream scenario.

The idea of a bookbtree and flying books, stories comming alive with all kinds of cosy and mistevious caracters is awsome.

The story developed nicely yet i do not understand why a librairy would be so far up a mountain that it would be hard to reach for patrons?

There is a note regarding the writing style. It felt very childish at times. Very explainy and you should not do this, and that is'nt nice, very kindergartenteacher speaking to the point that it was slightly anoying.

The hole rivalry with Jane and bickering like children felt that way. The hole the librairy is scared of kids and vandalisme felt thay way. These are realy childish things and the librairy could have crushed them.

So i did enjoy the cosyness and the idea of the worldbuilding im not sure if i would pick up a second one because of the writing style it felt kinda middlegrade and that includes the insta love romance. It was cute but you certainly need to be in the mood to escape from realisme.

I know these cosy fantasys are low stakes but this feels like caling somthing a problem to explain a motivation that realy is very silly.

Storting this book i was not intirely sure if this was a duologie or a second book in the series. Conclution i think this is a duologie because i am very satisfied with the ending of this book.

The first book on first look is a book about a quest, for a living, a prestegious job, studie wealth.

However it turns out to be a discovery about how they are, survival and strangth. Along the way we find love friends and danger.

Book two starts with another quest this time to fix whatever went wrong in the last 80 pages of book one 😀

This quest brings us to new towns and places looking for a mythical island wich is the place of the mistory fountain of youth.

This book was intricate, it set up a travel goal that constantly changed. We met interresting people and learned a lot about our main caracters along the way. I did mis the sweetness of the love interrest. Although the support he gave our main girl was still sweet the situation did not give a lot of room for the sweet innocent moments we had in book 1.

The buildup of this book was again slow an steady, setting up the politics, the magic systeme, the lore of the history. There were some surprises along the way that made me go. .  Was this always the plan... ore is this a twist to arrive at the ending 😜

Giving up everthing she wanted when her first quest started to save all was hartbreaking but an wonderfully satisfiying ending.

I thought this would be a series but after reading it im not so sure. It might be but its also possible this is an open ending like riding into the sunset.

Its interesting how there is a switch between time lines from whats happening now an how she came to be in that situation.

I started to care about the 4 women living together because i had a while to get to know them. But when in the end Camiles family was in danger i did not care so much for i had no real connection to them.

This might have been different if we had spent a little more time with them before she was send of but her being send off is the start of the story.

Still enjoyed the story.

This is a wonderfull, cosy and cute book. I love how Viv unintentionaly seems to be the catalist for change in this town.

She makes friends and breaks open recluse creatuers that start engaging with the world and the people in it.

There are villans but in general everyone is very nice and open minded and willing to help.

Its interesting in refrence to the next book to philosofise that sometimes its not the right time yet and sometimes wr are not the right people yet. I Enjoyed the book a lot.

I received an ARC of this story from NetGalley for an honost review. Thank you.

Because the first half of this story is written in third person it was kind of difficult to get a connection to the caracters at first. The story is not lineair and moves back and forth trough time and change of location.

Because this story is simple the sequensing of eventueel and the narration of thea made it interesting. I would have prevered her to have been talking to me in stead of random ficticious people. I think it would have been more intemate and engaged me more🤔

The story encompaces a periode from a daring escape over the wall from occupied Germanen to 2 generation later.

It speeks about life, love and living. From the second part of the story we get some  more 1st person storyline wich engaged me more with the story.

I liked the part were there striving to chase there dreams in making a difference in the world.

Thea gives away a part of the future that they acheave there goal. I didn't need that. For i believe one of the story lines and would like to expend on it.

The learning is not in the win or the loss but in the draw. The living is not in the succes or failure but in the act of striving and existing.

I liked the story and will look fore more stories from the author.

This is a very interresting book. I loce the idea of picking the best days to remember from your life. Yet there are bad days as we learn at the end. Though i don't think it is fair to punish someone that bands the rules.

He was put into that position to do so and a good men will try to help in any way he can. So i think the ending is kina sad. I know they reïncarnatie and stuff but still. I did not like the reason why his memories were take.
