Everyone in this book is absolutely exhausting. The main character is the most whiny, insufferable protagonist I have ever read. All of that meandering, and for WHAT?

I think this is meant to be more of a coffee table book than a read-in-one-sitting book, but I enjoyed it! I got my copy from the library and I’d love to buy a copy now for my, you guessed it, coffee table.

Honestly disappointed by this one, as I had such high expectations. Ultimately this book was trying to tackle way too many different ideas and (ironically) many of them were only dealt with at surface-level. It was hard to believe that the main character would work at Holistik and eventually with Apothecare when Victor and the company seemed so super villainish at the start of the book.

One of the best books I've ever read! How am I supposed to read another book again?!
