Joe Abercrombie’s writing style is always so insanely fun to read. I found the story of this one very engaging, and some of the beats very good. 

This book is one of those reads I’ve had where no matter what it won’t leave my head. The structure, the narrative style, and the characters are all so unique. I was expecting something much different when I started the book, but I was sos pleasantly surprised by this melancholic book about family and loss.
