I’d read this in the claimed among the stars anthology, but it seems Victoria Aveline added a bit at the end to wrap the story up more. I loved the ending addition, especially since we got to see another part of the Clecanian culture they hadn’t been explored in the series yet. Always like a redemption story, I think Maladek makes a good character.

Why am I always surprised when I love a new Kathryn Moon book? The emotional intimacy is AMAZING. Highly recommend.
