were parts that felt like they didn't really belong or took me out of it, but made sense in the context of why the book was written. it's also rly just so hard to not enjoy this with the thought of someone younger learning to be kind alongside copper n his friends in my head the whole time. so endeared....can't wait to cry watching the movie! :3
