listening to the audiobook definitely enhanced the Irish experience more

A lovely, chaotic and authentic portrayal of the author navigating her 20s, being a mess, and becoming less of her mess in her 30s. As I’m entering my 20s myself it feels like a great comfort to listen to everything that happened narrated with hindsight, knowing that things eventually come full circle and somehow, each character just makes it work (mostly…?)

I hardly read short stories but this was pretty good imo! Chronicling a couple of people stuck in their lives and their stories end with where they were at the start of it.
