Ends in a bit of a cliff hanger, which is annoying as the next book hasn't been published yet.

Again, good ideas but the writing lets it down. Not only that, the story doesn't finish and book 3 isn't available yet, and book 2 (which covers the same time period as book 1) doesn't even get to the end of book 1 yet. Lots of good ideas, but no development.

The story is really good, but would do well to be written slower and deeper.

The beginning was really slow. The ending was far too abrupt.
The bit between the murder and the ending was good.

I liked that there was an accompanying Spotify list, so I didn't need to search each individual carol.
