This is a beautiful retelling of a Greek Tragedy told in Homer's Iliad. It is the story of Patroclus and the Hero Achilles, and the life they lived together. While there is adventure and action, this is first a foremost a love story, the most beautiful one I have read in a long time. It is extremely well written, and quite the tear-jerker. Truthfully, my current favorite book.
