It was a solid book, but it is on the sweeter side of things. Overall, I don't really lean towards the sweeter side of things but every now and again it's fun to swap things up. I do like this series and how it's set up. I just wish we had a little bit more time/drama in the long run.

I was desperate for this one to come out because I was seeing so many videos hyping it up and it sounded so good and like it was going to have a ton of drama and be a lot of fun. But overall, I feel like all of the drama was spoiled by the videos since there wasn't much more drama going on other than those scenes. It wasn't terrible. I still liked it, but I don't think it is going to end up being the most memorable down the road especially since I read so many books this year and all of October were omegaverses.

I loved the first book and could not wait to jump into here and get the HEA and some answers. But honestly this one just kind of felt completely different from the first book. We don't really build onto the world that much, which was something I was desperate for. The suspenseful side, while it was really interesting, just didn't come up that much overall. Then as for the pack although we do end with an HEA, I wish we had more groveling and work to get to that point. I just wanted more overall in here.

It was so addicting! I really could not put this one down, I loved seeing everything unfold because we as the reader got to see both sides and see why the guys were doing what they were doing but the FMC never really learned the truth. But I really need more world-building or just an explanation on the omegaverse since it is a really interesting setup and very unique compared to the others I've read. I just wanted more from it overall.

The characters in this one and the overall story were chaotic. There are parts that I enjoyed more, and I wish we had focused on them more. It is heartbreaking, and I wanted more for all of these characters. It took some weird turns, and this one wasn't for me. I want to give this author another try because I liked many elements in the writing, and I liked Hostile Illusions.

I feel like it was a solid read, but overall, just not for me. I wanted it to lean more into the action/suspense side of things. That side was just pulling me in more and I needed more attention on it, but instead, it leaned more into the romance/pack life. It wasn't terrible just not for me or at least for me at that moment. I'm glad I read it though.

I loved where we started! It started off really strong and it was so hard to put down. But I only liked where we ended. I guess it really comes to me wishing it was a bit darker. There was just a lot of potential and I wanted it to be darker since it kind of just kept alluding to it and then just wrapped up really fast or was predictable. Especially when it came to Gary. He could've thrown in a lot more issues and I wanted to see that happen, but it wasn't terrible. But honestly, I feel like all of Huxley's books are on the sweeter side of things.

Overall, I'm glad that I finished this trilogy. But I think it started off really strong and slowly went down for me. I just wanted a little bit more in the end.

It's okay, I definitely liked the previous one more than this one. Plus I'm just ready to start wrapping things up and getting some answers.
