Honestly this book didn't have much of a plot we could say it's a character driven book also I think it heavily depends on the reader having read the vampire academy series like I enjoyed it without reading it but I think that if I had read it before I would've enjoyed more regarding knowing the characters more and all. The characters were really good tho and the story is interesting but if you're getting in wanting a fast pacing and lots of action don't cause it only picked up at action in the last 100 pages. I'll be reading the vampire academy series first and then coming back to continue bloodlines but I'm Honestly really excited to be in that world from what I've seen here looks like I'm in for a great ride.

Thank you for netgalley and the publisher for giving me a copy of this to review and here's my honest opinion
Until 50% of the book I was not liking this at all it was very slow paced and the characters weren't appealing to me I was just continuing to know what happen but I didn't care but after that the events picked out miraculously including the romance which I was dreading at the start but found myself excited for it in the last 50% so the book surprised me in a really good way. Absolutely loved the ending and that epilogue was so well written to be honest the whole writing style is amazing but I guess I wasn't picking it up because how bored I was with the events at the start. I would definitely be buying a physical copy for myself also can't wait to see what happens in the second but would definitely recommend for the author to divide her pacing a little more for the reader to get attached from the beginning.

Sooo I didn't like this at all
tbh I'd have never picked
this up if my bookclub
haven't chosen it.
I only gave it three stars for
the ending but other than
that the story is definitely
a two.
I found this book severely
lacking the author didn't
connect well between the
events and the revelation
so that bothered me alot.
Also I found that the book
was so long for the
capacity of the story like
literally I could remove a
whole storyline for a
character for God's sake.
Anyway as I said I only
liked the ending but other
than that it wasn't good at
all and I wouldn't say I
enjoyed it. Wouldn't
recommend to anyone
although lots of people
loved it but it just wasn't
my taste

I honestly didn't expect to lovers this as much as I did! Lucy was very annoying to me at first but I honestly pitied her cause I know the feeling of needing to have everything perfect and seeing life from the working perspective only so she grew fast on me. I loved how her relationship with zack developed it was so great seeing them go from hatred to tolerance and finally love. Their scenes together were so heartwarming seeing how zack changed Lucy so much and helped her find herself. Also loved the little plot twist at the end. The side characters were a sweet add to the story too how each was a key one in Lucy and zack's story.  Would definitely recommend this for a quick funny summer read I guarantee it guys you won't regret it!

I loved the story so much. It's so inspiring and emotional and the writing style is absolutely amazing. It's simple yet very poetic. Even though it's a short story but I think the author made a great job introducing the characters it felt right and not hurried at all. Would definitely recommend this for a quick read I enjoyed it so much.

This is one of the most cute and heartwarming stories I have ever read. When I first saw the name and the cover I told myself I had to read this. As a little girl I got bullied in school too for my curly hair but my mom never left she would literally hand coil it for me every morning and she raised my self esteem so much until I learned how to embrace my hair as it was. I was so happy reading Marlene's story and seeing how she embraced herself too and how she dealt with everything around her. The writing and the art was extremely amazing I can't wait for the release date so I can get myself a physical copy.

Thank you netgalley for giving me an ARC from this and here is my honest review
I loved the idea of the book so much just the thought of your dreams coming true is magnificent but I learned from this story that nothing always goes as you want. I loved the main character Vera and the author has a great writing style I loved her description but the book felt a little bland for me after like the half of it. I get that this is a short story and should just evolve on one subject but I thought maybe somethings could've been more interesting than it turned out also would've loved to know more about Vera's family and how the trait of dream travelling goes. I thought the story had a great potential and honestly the author kinda let it down by making it a short one. Overall it was a great experience these are the only comments I had I definitely enjoyed my time reading it and would most certainly read for multimind again!

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for giving me an EARC of this
I loved the book so much. As a senior who's in the scientific field I related to lots of things that the characters went through also the author is so clever diving in problems we all face like the pressure of feeling like we must be perfect in literally everything and that we constantly have to just focus on our academic life and nothing else also having lots of expectations thrown on us that sometimes it feels suffocating. Another problem the author tackled is the gender discrimination in certain fields the author explained it in such a good way it was so empowering to read. The characters were all so good no exceptions even the side ones. The author managed to make a cute romance story with the perfect ending while also tackling huge problems. This is certainly one of my favourite reads of the year and I strongly recommend it.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.
Such a creative story that had many potentials but was really poorly executed. The book was very very slow paced and it had thus mystery that in my opinion is never uncovered not even the tiniest bit I was going through not having a clue what the hell is happening. Like if you ask me what this story is I won't be able to tell you cause I don't know. Also the characters were so annoying and lacked much depth. It also doesn't help that this is a series like if it was one book I might have finished it out of curiosity and that's it but no there's still 2 more books which means lots of things won't be uncovered in this one.
