Im not sure if it was because my expectations were adjusted from book 1 or if the story actually improved, but I liked this book a lot more. It felt less YA and more NA (it didn’t hurt that we finally got actual spice 😂), and I’m actually intrigued by the plot

It was a great conclusion to this trilogy!
Deka is an incredibly strong and resilient character who embarks in an adventure to find the truth of who she is and how to fight the patriarchy that kills women in the name of their gods. In this third book the stakes are even higher and I loved the new world building and how the relationships developed. I was very pleased with the ending and even though I would have preferred to see a little more at the end, I have no complaints

We are back to the level of spice that I expect and love from Katee! The plot was fine and I’m curious were the story is going, but I’m mostly here for the characters and the relationships and this one seemed to develop quite organically so I really enjoy it, plus those three are HOT together
