This was great. I love Cali Melle’s books so to get to read one early was amazing.

From the blurb, we know Nash and Riley get married to help with her health insurance issues. I feel like that part, which seemed big in the blurb, wasn’t all that big in the book. I don’t remember them even dropping her. It was more, they don’t cover a lot of maternity health. Also, completely brushed over the fact that now she has better health insurance after they get married when she’s going to doctor’s visits. I don’t know but to me I would have liked to see more on that since getting married was for that purpose.

Besides that, I loved Nash and Riley. They really were the cutest. I did think it was funny when Riley said Nash is a great cook and I was like WAIT A MINUTE… cause I just finished up Make Your Move before starting this and was like “didn’t they say he was not a good cook?”. I could be losing it though too so who knows lol. But really, Nash and Riley, and the MY WIFE. Ruined me in the best way possible.

Thank you Cali Melle and team for the opportunity to read the second book in the Aston Archers series.

I. Have. No. Words.

This was my VERY first Laura Pavlov book. And wow. It did not disappoint. Now I’m mad and kicking myself for not reading a book hers before now.

Easton and Henley were great enemies to lovers. And it being workplace was ooh too good. You don’t read too many lawyer coupling books. Or at least I hadn’t until now.

Easton’s trauma and his mental health struggles were something I great enjoyed since it felt relatable in the sense that men like to be seen as strong and not fall to their feelings. But him wanting to be better was what got to me. I was like this man, THIS MAN. Is a keeper. So really I just loved them.

Thank you Valentine PR and Laura Pavlov for the opportunity to listen to this audio of the first book in the  rosewood river series. I’ll be deep diving into more books of Laura’s now hehe.

I am so in love with Zach and Emilie 😍

“Honestly, this kiss is like the ending of a sentence, but the start of a story”

OKAY RACHEL. Just kill me with how PHENOMENAL these sentences are. Like girl. I was not okay. I was UNWELL.

Zach and Emilie was the couple I didn’t know I needed in my life. And I love a fake dating trope. So this was just chefs kiss chefs kiss CHEFS KISS.
