Artemis Made Me Do It by Trista Mateer

emotional inspiring sad fast-paced

Trista Mateer was again has written an amazing piece of poetry based Greek mythology.
It's wonderful, powerful, and both dark and inspiring. I love that poetry was accomplanied with illustrations throughout the book. They are just as beautiful as Trista Mateer's writing.

Just not in the right mood for this book tbh.
The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski

Did not finish book. Stopped at 4%.
Just not vibing with this book.
The writing is leaning towards purple prose and I'm disappointed. I'm 5 chapters in and the world hasn't been explained, like what is a Kith? Half Kith? Middling? Is it a social class or what?
Honestly, I'm so confused.

Atalanta by Jennifer Saint

I didn't really enjoy this book. Nowhere near as much as I enjoyed JS's other books. It was just too slow and not that much happened. I think it could've been shorter tbh.
I liked Atalanta herself, but I don't think that her her story needed to be over 300 pages. I think maybe I would've enjoyed this better if it had been a novella.

Fate Breaker by Victoria Aveyard

I loved this book. Stunning conclusion this trilogy. 👌
My only issues with this book were
that Dom and Sorasa didn't kiss until the last few pages of the book (but I LOVED that everyone knew that they were in love before they did lol), and that Sigil was barely in this book. It felt like Aveyard didn't know what to do with her and just kinda shuffled her off to the side smh 😔

For the first half of this book I was enjoying the story and was lucking forward to Mr Malcolm getting a taste of his own medicine, so to speak. But unfortunately he didn't. Honestly, he was a very arrogant and annoying MMC and I felt kind of bad for Selina.
I was originally thinking this was going to be a solid 3 stars but it just went downhill. Overall it was simply okay and I probably wouldn't recommend it.
