What a long ass read. Every chapter was straight up infodumping left and right. I felt like my brain was going to explode. I should have went it with pen and paper just to keep track of the whats, whos, whys, whens, and wheres.

But really, though. One Eddard Stark and one Eddard Karstark?

I can relate to this book because I have been through almost the same kinds of guys that Lucia had dated/met. There were many instances throughout Chat Love that resonated with me so this was a fun read.

However, I couldn't get over how this book was set up in a "fictional autobiography" kind of way. Nothing wrong with that--I used to write short stories about heroines patterned to myself. But I find this too simple and easy, so I now think of Chat Love as something good for a bit of light reading. If you're into Sophie Kinsella (I love her!), you might like Chat Love as well.

Parts of it were too predictable and glaringly so. The Jack/Jackson thing would've jumped at me straight away if I were in Lucia's place. It was driving me crazy how she didn't catch on immediately, especially after he emailed her about leaving his home country and mentioning his dog.

The flirtatious moments between Jackson and Lucia did get me all excited, so I have to tip my hat to Justine Faeth for that. I like the sexual tension between them.

I liked Chat Love, so I give it three stars.
