One of my favorites of the Spooksville books I owned. If you've read Stephenie Meyer's "The Host", this book should come to mind. The Host seems like a copycat of this one.

My favorite Spooksville book. It was sad, and I remember being stumped after reading it for the first time. Definitely different from the campy Goosebumps and the Sweet Valley books I read back then.

Finished this even faster than when I read Divergent. Took me maybe 8 hours, and oh boy was it a good way to spend 8 Saturday hours.

Two amusing things I noticed throughout this book, though: (1) the Erudite go through a lot of syringes, and (2) almost each chapter ends with Tris going unconscious.

Read this after Allegiant, and I'm still depressed. This scene in Four's POV doesn't really help much. It's nice, but, after Allegiant, nothing will ever be the same.
