I just don’t think Mhairi McFarlane is for me. I’ve given her two chances and both times I’ve been bored outta my mind.

Like to plot could be so interesting but I just am bored with the way it’s written.

Returning the other books I have out on Libby and will attempt a different book by her in the future.

Everything I know about turtles is against my will. The turtle mention has been a little too much.

Insta love is not for me. Which would explain why most short stories don’t work for me.

This was very good and I do recommend but I did figure out the plot twist before it happened and I have conflicting feelings about how the final conflict happened.

It felt like everything was repetitive. Like I heard the same 5 stories over and over. The same 5 lines over and over. It was good and I liked the twists but it could’ve been half as long if the author just didn’t repeat the words over and over.

Somewhere between a 4.5-5 star

This was good until the final conflict then it kinda just became unrealistic but was still sooooo good.  The unreliable narrator aspect was soooo good. The ending was exactly what I needed. Completely unexpected and made me want more.

I went into this with an open mind after listening to Britney Spears memoir and was really enjoying it until she started to talk about everything that occurred with Britney's conservatorship. Standing behind abusive people is something that I am never able to support. Allowing your kids to be around those people is not something that should be okay.
