Smooth Sailing by Kristen Ashley

Smooth Sailing gave me all the feels!! Hugger and Diana’s story is absolutely beautiful, wonderful, amazing! I laughed, I swooned, I had goosebumps, I cried! This book has it all!
While Hugger and Diana are the main couple of the story, it’s so wonderful getting to check in with old favorites from the Chaos world. We get little sneak peeks into what’s happening with characters we’ve loved for years, all while falling head over heels with a new couple.

I loved Pepper & Auggie! And Juno and Cisco were hilarious too!
Auggie is epic commando materiel. His late name is Hero, so duh! He’s awesome! And Pepper! I loved her as the FMC, as Auggie’s woman, and Juno’s mom.

I love Ryn & Boone! Ryn is fierce and has such a big heart. Boone is absolutely freaking wonderful! Big badass commando with a big heart! And when he calls her Rinnie, I totally swoon
The Marriage Hex by Sarah Blue

The Marriage Hex was just the thing I needed to get me out our my mini slump!
Young lovers seperated by forces out of their control ✔️
Magic spell gone wrong ✔️
Fierce female main character with plenty of attitude ✔️
Hunky hero who reminds me of Logan from the Wolverine movies, complete with wearing a flannel, riding a motorcycle, chopping wood, and a take no shit attitude ✔️✔️✔️
I loved this so much! I was in a bit of a mini funk and this snapped me right out! I loved Violet and Silas! Their banter back and forth is chefs kiss 😘
In addition to the relationship between Violet and Silas, I love seeing their relationships with their friends and found family members. It just warmed my heart!
If you’re looking for a cute witchy/wolfy romance with banter, LOLs, spice, & of course some knotting (it is a Sarah Blue book after all) the you should totally check this out!!
The Coven by Harper L. Woods

This was a fine start to spooky season. I went in pretty blind. All I knew was it was witchy and the physical copy had pretty edges.
I have to say I enjoyed the beginning, the middle was pretty meh for me, and the end seemed rushed. I might read book 2 eventually but I’m not in any real rush for it.

I liked this!
Enjoyable characters. Small town murder mystery with a good romance plot. Very enjoyable!!
I do have to say I called the killer from the start, but still I very much enjoyed it!

This is book 2 from the Sunrise Lake books.
While I didn’t enjoy it as much as book 1, the ending was lacking IMO, but I still found it really enjoyable! I’m very intrigued by this group of friends. I really hope the author continues writing their stories.
Deadly Game by Christine Feehan

After a break of reading an abundance of other Christine Feehan books, I’ve come back to the GhostWalker series.
This was Jack & Briony’s story.
I enjoyed the beginning, the middle had me a bit on edge, and by the end I was totally loving them!

I was intrigued to learn more about Jesse. From his appearances in the other stories, I was excited to learn more about him.
Sabre was interesting. I liked the whole radio star thing.
For some reason this one wasn’t my favorite, it was still good, but it just didn’t click for me.
