I'll always give kudos to someone who writes their first book.  To me this just felt like it was trying to hard to be a good book.  The old language writing style (thus, shall, etc.) was distracting and the tropes were over the top without having the weight they need to buy in.

This was wonderful and sweet! The ending dragged on to long for me but otherwise I really enjoyed this book.  I was excited to pick it up each time!
