I went into this blind, not even knowing what the title meant. This was not the rollercoaster I initially thought it would be. It's a ferris wheel ride that pauses long, then drops in quick succession. The inclusion of the Aztec culture coinciding with the timeline gives a prophetic aspect to it that I would have considered cheesy in other reads but not in this one. I would recommend it, I just wouldn't read it again.
