I had the best time reading this, the plot is so unique to anything else I've read before

- magic
- alternative reality
- she cleans his house for the past 3 years but they haven't really interacted
- closed door romance
- mainly single pov (her pov) with prologue/epilogue in his pov
- dual narration

She makes a wish that he loved her, and woke up the next day in an alternative where they've been married 7 years but she doesn't remember any of it

I really enjoyed the plot twists and didn't know what was going to happen in the end, it was so good tho and kept me reading more and more

Thank you to NetGalley and Swift & Lewis Publishing for the ALC - all opinions are my own

I really enjoyed the build up of this book and although the majority of it takes place over 4 days it didn't feel too rushed or fast paced

I liked that one guy got introduced to the group over each day and I knew who's who and didn't get confused over it

- why choose
- friends to lovers / coworkers
- strippers / firefighters
- bodyguard
- inexperienced FMC (& 1 MMC)
- multi pov / 1st person

Good quick spicy read

- insta love (the book takes place over 3 days)
- why choose (MMF)
- small town romance
- multi pov / single narrator

The insta love was kinda insane in this, consider both MMCs were like "this girl is ours" before they even met her (💀) but honestly I ate it up and was here for it - it was exactly what I needed

I kinda wish it was a bit longer / there was a bit more plot of them getting to know each other

Definitely going to be checking out the rest of this series

For a book where characters hook up for the first time in the second chapter it felt like a slow burn and forever for them to actually get together

For a short novella there was a lot of plot in here which I did enjoy and it wasn't just all spice

Overall the writing style wasn't my fave

- friends to lovers
- poly relationship (MMF, MM already established before book starts)

I really enjoyed this book, it's exactly what I needed to get me out of this weird reading slump/mood that I've been in

I love omegaverse/why choose books for all the different relationships and how different everyone's personalities are but then all come together and work perfectly - I eat it up every time

I enjoyed the journey that we went on with the FMC and seeing her growth and how each of the MMCs helped her in different ways

There's one plot line that revealed itself towards the end of the book and I felt like it came a little too late and would've loved to have more time to explore it within the story

- omegaverse
- one of her mates accidentally bites and claims her within seconds of being in the same room as her
- forced proximity

I love a small town romance and I love a book written by Kandi so no surprise that I loved this

I love the forbidden aspect and the angst that it brought throughout the whole story

I love that they formed a friendship first and how he supported her dreams and goals from the start and was interested in them

When they finally get together and everyone finding out was so good, I was shocked in the best way

- mayor’s daughter x town bad biy
- shes engaged to someone else
- small town romance

Reread via audio

I really enjoyed the story, however the audio isnt my fave. I think itd work great if it was a duet narration however its a duel narration and the voices of the opposite gender for both narrators wasnt my fave

- small town
- ex football player
- forced proximity
- slow burn
