Gripping and absolutely riveting in a stranger-than-fiction way, I couldn't put this down. I raced through it in 2 days and couldn't help regularly pausing to read out passages to my partner. It's propulsive and reads like a thriller in many ways, but it is also an empathetic, measured portrait of Stéphane Breitwieser.
