Such a fun middle grades take on the DC Universe. A great graphic novel, introducing animal sidekicks and plots abound

I've heard really amazing thing about Borison's writing, but this one just didn't do it for me.  I found the idea pretty solid and the romance okay, but the third act breakup felt a little forced and awkward.

I love the world of demon hunting and cafes, best of both for me. Love getting to see more depth the worlds and more backstory

Honestly, my favorite Hazelwood book. The characters? A delight. The story? Gripping without being in your face. The romance? Sexy and swoony and so so good

I'm a sucker for a good hockey romance, and Elle Kennedy is it.  Seeing the Briar U kids back in action was a delight.  The spice: immaculate.  The plot: a little fluffy but solid story beats.  Character growth: stunning.

As much as I love the work of CLAMP, I love the weird cozy mundanity of oni hunting and cafe shop running more. I could live in a book with that. Overall, the story continues and we learn more about the mysterious bad guys
