This was a very difficult listen but absolutely superb. Thoroughly researched,  the book doesn't just give you facts but really brings these girls and their stories to life. If I had to give it one word it would be haunting.

This was such a disappointment after Dark Matter. Though, to be fair, I think the plot just didn't resonate with me. I couldn't get invested in the story and got kinda bored.

The narration by Nico Evers-Swindell is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed this classic.

I did not enjoy this book. The pacing was all over the place. The most interesting things happened off-stage and were just explained by others. Some of the most boring things took multiple chapters. I understand it was written in a documentary style and perhaps that's why I didn't like it. I don't enjoy film mockumentaries either.

Love the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical though. Really really wanted to like the book as well.
