This book is a bit like an emotional rollercoaster with a mix of romance, humor, and heartache.
The narration by Evelyn Rose, Kas Vadim, John Hartley, and James Joseph is partially dual / multicast.
Evelyn did an amazing job with all the voices đź’•

Beth is a vulnerable yet strong character and gets tangled in the lives of three single dads—Jack, the sweet nerd; Cyrus, the flirty dancer; and Sebastian, the stoic businessman—and their adorable daughter, Cami.

For me it’s the least steamy book of this series. The emotional part and depth of the characters are more important.
While the misunderstanding and drama can feel a bit much, the found family and happily-ever-after are worth it.
Please be aware that some subjects  involved in this story can be triggering: abandonment, infertility.

This story is narrated by Raquel Beattie and Gregory Salinas in dual narration.

This book definitely gives off “Den of Vipers” vibes—a dark mafia romance with a tough heroine, steamy relationships, and plenty of drama.
You’ll meet the badass Scarletta, a brilliant thief, hacker, and killer, along with her three intense and unhinged men: the possessive (and a-hole) Caleb, the obsessed Niko, and the easygoing yet chaotic Kenji.

All of them share a traumatic past and a thirst for revenge.
The narration was well done, highlighting both the humor and emotions of these very different characters.
There is a lot of love/hate in here.

The only weakness for me was: the repeated mentions of the “sharing” talk across several chapters. It felt a bit unnecessary ;)

P.S.
The chapters titles were hilarious! Brilliant idea.
The one that made me barked a very unfeminine laugh was: GRAY SWEATPANTS AND DICKPRINTS ARE TO WOMEN WHAT TITS ARE TO MEN
Thank you for that!

Tropes:

Marriage of convenience (sort of)
Revenge,

5.0

Without a shadow of a doubt, this story is a beautifully lighthearted, funny story.
It’s about self-healing and self-discovery but also trust and abandonment issues.
Daphne, thanks to Julia Whelan’s narration, takes you on her journey to find and be herself. And, obviously, you’ll meet the cutest and most vulnerable book boyfriend you didn’t know you needed—Miles.

I loved the witty dialogue, all the relatable characters, and the perfect balance of angst and romance.

Tropes:
  • Fake dating
  • Exes who become roommates
  • Sunday adventures
  • Characters in their 30’s

This story is narrated in Multi cast / Duet -  with Troy Duran, Tara Langella, Thomas Oakley and Brooke Daniels. And it’s perfect.

As soon as the FMC is a sassy strong independent character: count me in.
And Emery is particularly funny.

The story with Callum our morally grey billionaire is clearly strange since the beginning and… you have the hole book to understand what in the F is going on.
It was awesome!

Tropes:
Billionaire
Book shop
Banter between all the characters
Sassy FMC
Marriage of convenience
Secrete identity
Good boy

I understand that lovers of classic romance tropes loved this book. With overprotective intense broody heroe, secret pasts, childhood trauma, and the angst “I have to push her away for her own good” moment, it ticks all the boxes.
Clearly, it’s not for me.
The plots are a bit childish and unrealistic. Some elements felt far fetched like the end…
And despite the banter between Ava’s sassiness and grumpy but soft inside Alex, it didn’t reach the hype I thought.

Tropes:
Best Friend’s sister
Grumpy/Sunshine (literally)
Sassy but traumatized FMC
Angst
Enemies to lovers
Seeking for revenge
Sloooooow burn

This story is narrated in partially duet and dual POV by Faye Adele, Shane East, Will Watt, and John York

This is a fun, heartfelt, and red-hot romance perfect for fans of fake dating and reverse harem stories.
And honestly my favorite book of Lily in this series.

We follows Layla, a lingerie designer, and her three charming (obviously drop dead gorgeous) neighbors—Josh, Zack, and Luke—as they embark on a fake dating experiment that turns into much more.

With humor, spice, and heart, the story explores themes of love, self-worth, and overcoming past trauma.

Tropes:
- why choose FMMM
- friends to lovers
- fake dating
- third act breakup (but it’s valid to me this time)

Tropes:
Enemies to lovers
College
Inexperienced, stubborn and fierce FMC
Psychopath and obsessed MMC
Secret societies (along with mafia vibes)
He falls first and hard
The banter is pretty great with the famous English sarcasm 🥰

I like this audiobook, the narration is performed in dual by Sebastian York, Josie Minor, Aaron Shedlock, Wen Ross and Kylie Stewart.

My only issue with the book is the 2nd chapter and how it is treated all along the book.
It is basically SA and a particularly degrading one, it made me really uncomfortable, also because it is romanticized all along the book and no it is not.

This audiobook, narrated by James Cassidy and Michelle Sparks, masterfully balances dark themes with sizzling romance and humor. Cassidy shines with his hilarious take on Jonas and impressive accents, while Sparks brings depth and vulnerability to Nova.

Each man—Louis (strategic), Nico (gentle giant), Dimitri (scarred intellectual), Isaac (emotional healer), and Jonas (chaotic yet tender)—forms a deep bond with Nova, who is as fierce as she is broken. They add her to her their found family.

A perfect mix of action, emotional depth, and humor…
â€śWe look like the Care Bear version of an assassin squad.” Is a perfect quote to illustrate that.
And the spice is spicy: 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5

This story of Maeve and Asher hits all the right notes—sweet, funny, and full of heart. As every story of Lauren I’ve read so far.

From the playful banter to the deeply emotional moments, Vanessa Edwin and Robert Hatchet make the characters leap off the page, their chemistry palpable and their humor infectious.
This audio is in duet narration and for the better.

The slow burn is worth it, with emotional depth that explores anxiety and healing in a thoughtful way.
This story will leave you swooning. This is a feel-good romance that’s as touching as it is fun.

Tropes:
Hockey romance
Marriage pact to marriage of convenience to possessive “My wife”
Friends to lovers
The love lessons
She is his good luck charm
Touching way to talk about anxiety
