Emily Henry strikes again! The only other book of hers that I had read before that one was Book Lovers and it was an instant favorite so I am glad that this one hit as well! As a lover of the fake daring trope I ATE. IT. UP. Daphne and Miles’s relationship developed in a very natural way in my opinion and I found their romantic moments very cute. Henry has a way to incorporate emotions and trauma into her romance books that is very refreshing yet meaningful, I even found myself tearing up at some of the most emotional scenes. Although some of the dirty talk was on the verge of being cringy for me, the couple spice scenes in the book were pretty well written and engaging. Overall a very good book that I highly recommend reading !
