Okay so this review is being written from someone who has already read the Throne of Glass series and loved it so this might be a bit bias.

Comparing this book to the rest of the series, it is definitely not the strongest writing and the best book. However, this book is always such a fun read for me and always tend to leave me on edge. The characters aren’t the strongest but over the series’s they tend to be more developed. This review is kinda a mess but I love this book as being the first book of a wonderful series.

as much as i loved seeing theses characters again and learning much more about them and how they think, there really isn’t any plot. there was probably a really small plot with Nesta not wanting to be apart of the family anymore, but it wasn’t such a big deal where i can say that this is what the story was about. mainly this story was about Feyre, Rhys, and the inner circle getting ready for the holidays and that’s really it. but of course this is a novella so i wasn’t really expecting anything huge that could’ve been added to the world of acotar. i still loved reading it however.

This book was such a rollercoaster. I love how it’s so different and the idea of this book. I went into this book not really knowing everything about this book and I wasn’t let down! The main character Scarlett annoyed be quite a lot in the beginning of the book but she soon I got used to her. But besides that I really enjoyed this book!
