I'll rot in hell I guess. Loved these three together, with a sprinkle of feelings here and there. But don't expect too much. This is just a 🩸t@b00 'cesty goodness with lots of filth.

 3.75 * overall.
This is not my first time reading a book by the author so I knew what to expect – drama, OTT scenes but also a tender and lovely romance. And it definitely fits the bill.

The forced marriage was anticipated and quite well-executed. Dima (Dimitri) was immediately enchanted and in need to take care of Eiji. Eiji’s struggles to get used to Dima’s place and people felt real and well-executed. I loved the way Eiji sought comfort. Did I think this would turn into a Little situation? Yes, there was a potential, but it does not happen at all. Eiji’s sister was a blessing and a lovely female character.

What bummed me was one scene that just did not make sense. I even thought it was a dream. It felt even more out of place when Eiji had a break down connected to what happens in this scene. It really lessened the impact of the hurt/comfort. And it was no longer discussed or addressed.

Another issue I had was with Dimitri, the boss. He is not enough tough or strict on-page. He often mentions that someone needs to be dealt with only for somebody else to do it, or for the issue to not be addressed anymore.

Otherwise, the book was enjoyable, with just enough quick pace and cute romance (with some separation). Eiji can be quite a bad a$$ so it made him even better character.

Blood of the Land is a vampire erotica with a mainly historical setting and unique characters.
The setting of colonial Australia was fresh and lively. The same goes for the 90s setting though there is way less time spent in this era. I liked the writing very much. It is mature, just enough detached and fits the mood of the genre.

The take on vampires was actually something I never read before and so I liked these creatures who are strong but also quite vulnerable. No one is safe, even the supernaturals are at a constant threat. The narration is more of a birds-eye view as it focuses on lots of characters and I actually liked the transitions. It was actually refreshing to see multiple POVs, not just one or two.

I would not call this romance as it is more about lust and pleasure. Plus, the MCs are not much together and most of the spicy scenes are with other people. And I liked it to a point. In the end, I did not care much for the characters only because there were too many gaps and formed relationship I myself did not see grow. The book could've easily been twice (or even three times) as long. And then I would actually feel something for them and would be interested even in the other bed partners.

Overall, the setting is strong and the book presents a solid world of vampires and the humans they exploit.

I received a free copy from the author, all opinions are my own!

Easy, Schmeasy is a low-angst, best friends to lovers (and idiots to lovers 😅), interracial romance. I am honestly glad I found out about this author because the author’s writing is right up my alley. There is low-angst between the couple (the title is very much fitting, at the beginning the men struggle with their feelings though), some angst outside their relationship and very interesting relationship development that took me by surprise. I normally do not read contemporary sports romance but the hurt/comfort won me over and I cannot complain. It delivered.

The two MCs have such strong feelings for each other that they will do anything to be together. I loved their worries and their communication. It made sense even if they changed their mind about things. They really felt human and… normal. There is no miscommunication or evading a problem. I love to see that in a romance - when they deal with issues as maturely as possible.

There is tons of spice. In the first part of the novel, most of it is off-page. But oh boy. Once we get to now… it just kept on coming (no pun intended lol) and it was just so hot and on-page. Tons of dirty talk, tons of detail and I was surprised I did not get bored by the spicy scenes.
The last chapter did feel rushed but the bonus content is available so I think it compensates for the missed scene or two.

Despite this being part of a series, I had no problems reading this as a standalone. There are established couples but nothing spoilery so even if the reader decides to read the previous books, they will not be robbed of the experience.

Coil of Boughs is an enchanting story of redemption, peril, death and so much love and magic. This was my first book by Penny Moss and the author is excellent at world building, funny dialogue, and organic romance. The lore and creatures were vividly portrayed, and I was surprised to recognize some of the creatures known to my country. Though there are twists to everything.

Ruri, the MC who is a bratty rogue but you cannot help but love him, stole my heart. He was snarky and funny, but also insecure and in need of acceptance.

Awimak, and who he is, is interwoven through the narrative. He is still a bit enigmatic, but his fierce protectiveness makes you love him even more.

As for the plot, it is solid with some twists and turns and tons of betrayal. It is also a great mixture of action, humour, and romance. There were literally parts where I was at the edge of my seat, and just devouring the fight scenes and I often worried for our MCs – no one is safe! Ever!

There are tons of caretaking, cuddles, touches, and hugging that I just awwwwed at the end. There is some drama between the MCs, but they always talk as soon as possible so it does not turn into anything unnecessary.

The romance is a slow burn, with steamy scenes on page, and the ending was just so well executed. I cannot wait to see more of them.

I received an ARC from the author but all opinions are my own and authentic!

What a cute little story. Virtually no angst, slow burn, some hotness and two MCs that are imperfect but just perfect for each other.
I was afraid the low angst aspect would make the book boring but not at all! The dates were so cute and full of life. The two have normal conversations and it fit the vibe just right.
The spice is detailed enough and the slow burn made everything even more worth it. Not only for the reader but the characters too.

Fractured Hope is everything it promises: hurt/comfort, small town romance with lots of love and healing. There was so much caretaking that I could not get enough of it! This is definitely a low-angst (between the couple) romance with some dark moments but there is so much light and focus on healing that you have to keep on reading. Both MCs change and show their strength equally.
The characters introduced are lively and just intriguing enough with lots of potential for other novels.

Why not 5*? Sometimes, the dialogue felt weird and the sex talk did not land for me. But maybe that is just me.

Why did I have to get better before someone loved me?

What. A. Ride. Bloom Part One is a character driven romance full of longing, feels, and obsession. Most of the book is dedicated to Dr. Collier and Bloom and the way the come to terms with their relationship. It is full of hesitancy, dedication, and love.

Bloom is captivating and I relished in his character's presence. Loved his brutality and impulsiveness on-page as it made him believable. Dr. Collier is resisting but we all know how it will end.

They were so hot with each other. The praise, the dirty talk, the firsts Bloom had with him were hot hot hot.

The book does not end on a cliffhanger, more on a HFN with some looming danger and secrets about Dr. Collier that will definitely come haunt him in the part 2.

Cute, fluffy, some serious caretaking, and lots of love.

This is such a cute book, with some fluffy romance, basically no angst between the MCs, and lots of love and declarations of love.

Why not 5*? The drama at the end was a bit over to top for me. Or it would work if all the involved were not so ready to forgive what the bad character does.
