My favorite book from the series so far. Unhinged, violent, kinky, and so so romantic.

“You, little submissive, can call me Master.”

So there are only so many stories that actually pull at my heartstrings. And this one is definitely it. The first couple of books of the series, I was not sure how I felt about Undertaker, but in King's Pawn I saw that he can be good. And this book proved that in a tenfold.

Undertaker was down bad from the beginning, possessive, stabby and not afraid to harm and kill for his pet. There is lots of caretaking and fussing over Lee and I lived for it.

Lee was a poor baby. Used by others, struggling to find his calling and making others happy. Undertaker definitely showed him how to turn off his brain and just be.

There are lots of hot scenes, lots of violence (some corpses), and so much romance. I wanted to keep on reading but also was afraid of the story ending. I have so many highlights (well, for me at least) that I just needed to see.

Angsty, violent but swoony af.

I loved the story and both characters. There is angst and lack of communication but not just for the sake of drama but for the character's growth.

Destiny and Bishop were made for each other but they are not perfect. I was glad we also got a scene that switches their bed roles.
Loved seeing other characters from the series. And there is an overarching plotline and character growth.

The kink was great, spice hot. But the younger MC, Shane, felt more mature than West. The constant need to have their relationship approved by Carter was annoying. And it remains an issue basically till the epilogue. I guess it made their relationship like a part of destiny but... I just had to fight an eye-roll. You are either ready for a new relationship or you are not. And I was not honestly sure about the two.

Actually loved the dynamic between Scar and Charley. It is not a sweet romance but a prison one and I got everything I expected. And the fact that Scar was just himself till the end way great. I do not need characters to change themselves just to have a perfect romance.

Wasn't sure I'd love these two but oh boy. This was amazing.

- Forrest is a poor baby that needs to be protected at all cost. And I think Rourke does a pretty good job. *wink wink*
- there is some mystery, some drama, and some angst between the couple and outside of them.
- I understood Rourke's reluctance to commit with Forrest but I also loved his contradictions in his actions.
- the spice was brilliant. And hot. The kinks were just enough.
- the ending for Rourke and Forrest and their relationship was a bit too ideal but I would be lying if I did not say I relied on one character to help them. So in the end, I'm not complaining!

This was cute, with Christmas vibe but also left me wanting more from the couple.

I think this could've easily been a full length novel. There was enough back story to both men and I am a bit sad we were robbed of the rich/poor combo. The D/s elements are there but it did not land as hard as I wanted it to, for me. Nevertheless, the characters are loveable.

What a delicious little book. I devoured it and loved every second of it.

It is dark at times, but so filthy at other times. And Sloan? He is such a softie in his head and I live for these bad ass men who treat feelings like a disease but they are not aware they already caught one.

Conall is a brat but I cannot help but love him.

This was frustrating at times but Travis was a cinnamon roll stalker. I loved the romance between the two even though the drama at the end was what frustrated me. Mackenzie - I understood his issues but also wanted him to make up his mind because Travis was right. He did not force him to do anything, it was Mackenzie's choice but Travis got blamed for his spontaneity.

I appreciated that the roles here were not strict and they are versatile. The motorcycle club was more explored and I cannot wait for the next book but I am reading the whole universe of NG so it will take some time to actually get to them.

Cute short but not much believable development. It is more HFN than anything else.

What a yummy novella. Though I wanted more between the two.

So the build up is quite slow and natural and kinky. I liked the whole camboy set up. And I wished there was more between the two consensually. It is still a wonderful book but I wished for the last chapter to be longer.
