While this story had all of the components of a great thriller, it fell short in the execution. I gave 4 stars due to the fact I read it in a very short amount of time because I wanted to figure out what was happening.

Taylor Jenkins Reid has a beautiful writing style that pulled me in. I was under the impression that this was a thriller, when in fact it was the most beautiful love and life story. This book brings to light the details of life that people often attempt to hide or wish to forget.

I enjoyed this one. The writing style kept me wanting to read more.

My 2022 #1 book!

Alice Feeney has a way of pulling you into this world of twisted relationships and haunting past lives. She keeps you guessing and even second guessing until the very end.

Outstanding!

This was a page turner for sure! I could not read fast enough! My first Frieda McFadden book but for sure not my last.

An emotional rollercoaster!

This book had me on the edge of my seat wanting to read faster! This was my first Jennifer Hillier book but it won't be my last.

A quick read that will pull you in and keep you reading until the end! I hope this book will have a sequel!

Keep you up at night creepy!

I found myself wanting to read more and more of this terrifying and gripping story. I think we all have thought we saw or heard something in the dark, and this story brings that fear to life.
