I absolutely loved Greek so I was really interested to see if this could fill it's void. This was a super quick, fun read. I hated Ashlei's drug story line but I enjoyed the rest of this.

Ugh.. this was not for me. The writing style was tedious and overly descriptive. The characters were flat and unrealistic - I'm sorry but 18 year olds don't call each other child or talk like that in any way. I hated the friendship - they were all toxic and genuinely awful. And the amount of repetition... I started to just skip entire pages because I was sick of it.
I did like the time travel-y portion. It was crazy unique and interesting. And the mystery story line is what made me finish the book (although the conclusion was SO disappointing)

3.5 stars but I'll round up because Haig's writing is so amazing

This was a really interesting book. The commentary on time, society, and fear was well done and I really connected with the characters. The story was a little slow and more slice of life than I had anticipated - I thought there would be a larger sci-fi feel. But overall I enjoyed the story and the writing.
I definitely plan to pick up more of Haig's books.

I finally finished a book!! *happy dance*

I really enjoyed this! I was looking for a light, fun contemporary romance, and while this wasn't QUITE that, it was really enjoyable.

My star deduction is actually more of a personal reading experience issue. I thought this was going to be light and fluffy and a total Hallmark movie story. So the twist that happens about half way through, threw me a little. I've read a lot of sad contemporary lately and was not in the mood for any more. But I was attached to the characters by then so I needed to see how everything worked out.

Overall this book was cute and fun. The romance was sweet. The writing was well done. And I enjoyed my time reading this.

I really enjoy Kasie West's books. They are so sweet and fun.
Nothing super surprising or inventive happened in this - it's a pretty straightforward YA contemporary romance. But the podcast element was really cute. The characters were sweet. And overall it was a perfect summer-time contemporary read.

What a creepy, strange, captivating story. I listened to the audiobook for this and was hooked from the very beginning. Neil Gaiman narrates this book and he did are really great job.
The "villain" was so well written and I loved hating her. The magical elements were whimsical and really well done. And I got attached to all of the side characters. Overall I enjoyed this a lot.
I read a lot of reviews before picking it up and I was expecting it to be a lot more confusing.. It's definitely magical and out there but I thought everything was well laid out and explained.
If you're looking for an engaging audiobook I definitely recommend picking this one up!
