Giving this a 3 star because not a lot really happened in it but it’s bingeable. Immediately picking up book 2.

This needed another edit but was a cute cozy read. The last 20% and the ending ruined it for me. I know it’s a series with interconnected stand alones and it setup for the next book but I didn’t like it.

This one slowed way down. Still really enjoyable. Not completely satisfied with that ending but it was a good trilogy.

This one started to lose me at one point for a bit but I was invested and by the end I couldn’t put it down again. Pretty sure she put crack in here. Immediately picking up book 3.

This is not a literary masterpiece, or a work of art. But it is very bingeable and fast paced. This one had me hooked from the first chapter. It’s like a no brainer thriller style and I loved it. 😂 immediately picking up book 2.

You all know how I feel about more than 1 love interest so when #2 came in, I immediately lost interest. I did hate the book but I just wasn’t real into it. The best part was when the MMC held a baby towards the end.

If you like campy, you’ll love this! I’m not sure I like campy. I am gonna read book 2 and see what’s up because the ending, while I saw it coming from a mile away, makes me wanna keep going. 😂

I finished it but that’s about it. I won’t read book 3.

This is hard to rate because it was bingeable and a great concept but it needs some touch up on the writing and a thorough editing. Almost every page had contradictory information. A small unimportant example:

They arrive at a location

“As soon as I got out I knew exactly who had been here”

Unimportant inner monologue

“Onyx came around to open my door”

Stuff like that is all throughout the book and very often. And bet your ass my brain snagged onto every single one. But I read it in one sitting despite that so there’s my reason it’s hard to rate. Read at your own risk.
