I had an amazing time reading this with my book club. Thank you so much to Karina for the eARC.

It was an unnerving, creepy, and thrilling read for me, and I found myself completely immersed in the setting of the story. The author's writing style was exceptional and allowed me to vividly imagine myself at the institute. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I did, I couldn't put it down. I had no idea what was going to happen next, and that was the best part. It was so frustrating not knowing what the heck was going on, but I just had to keep reading to find out. I'm so glad I did. The author's imagination is wild! The story was full of surprises, and I loved every minute of it.

Here are my reasons why you should read this:

♡ Perfect for spooky season. Dark academia/cottagecore vibes
♡ Women in STEM
♡ Unreliable narrator
♡ Professor x Student
♡ Forced proximity
♡ Isolated setting/haunted forest
♡ BDSM elements
♡ Fun with fungi (this was so different from what I imagined, iykyk)
♡ Degradation kink
♡ Obsessed MMC

This was a total game-changer! This action-packed narrative introduces a whole new setting with fresh characters, incredible world-building, and a wild ride of emotions. The character development of the main characters is on point, and there's plenty of groveling (I mean, lots of it), beautiful friendships, and relationship growth. I couldn't have asked for more from this book!

Thank you, Nisha, for this amazing ARC. I can't wait to see how you weave your magic into the next book.

Here are my reasons why you should read this series:

♡ Inspired by Indian mythology
♡ Vampire-like warriors (Rakshasas)
♡ Dragon shifter MC
♡ Slow burn 🔥
♡ Found family
♡ Enemies-to-lovers-enemies
♡ Betrayals and hidden magic
