A sweet story about the courage it can take to just be yourself. It could have gone wrong in so many ways but instead this book is adorable and true. And a bit heartbreaking at times. You identify with the main character but at the same time, you get so upset with the way he acts. Deep down you have to ask yourself - could you be as brave as Stargirl?
