Phyllida is back and wonderful as always.

This time we leave the countryside and join the household in London, where a series of mysterious murders take place in various theatres - with a fun hint of an ABC Murders-vibe. As always Phyllida is a darn delight, the household is wonderful, and this time there's even a little sprinkle of romance in Phyllida's life! Utterly delightful. Loved every moment.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 32%.
Really enjoying this, but it's way too slow. If I ever come across an audio of it, I'm giving it another go.

Adored Selena. She's brilliant, and she actions her brilliance by making actual progressive change in fancy society; and I LOVED how she was with the children. She and Peter were maybe a bit too insta-lovey? They had enough chemistry to run a small town though, so it was really fine.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was wonderful. She even does voices. Did not expect that southern accent, I can tell you that. Ne'er Duke Well is just the right mix of funny, mildly dramatic, romantic and slightly predictable read that the world needed. Adored it.
