This book didn't make much sense to me until the last two pages. It went so into depth with a culture, and how important it was and significant to their lives, and then this white man comes. He destroys their society as they know it, and all he can think about is the maybe one paragraph he might write about in his book. You sympathize with the village, an then realize that the white man is us, as a people. Definitely a moral challenge for the reader.
