This book was...hard, but I loved it so much. I expected it to be deep, dark and sad at times but it was so much more. The topics discussed and the way it was handled was so beautifully and realistically done, I sometimes had to stop for a moment and just breath. It has been a long time since I cried so much reading a book, we're talking about sobbing, screaming, almost throwing my Kindle to the other side of the room at the end of Part 1/start of Part 2 (and of course before and after that as well, because I cry all the time while reading).

Skyler is just such a cutie and has to be protected at all costs (even if he would hate for me to say that like this). Anyone who dares to disagree is just simply wrong. I felt so much for him while reading this book, I just wanted him to be happy and get all the best things he wants because he deserves the world.

All in all I loved this book so much. The representation of autism was something you don't see very often in books and it was done amazing here, I could really feel with Sky on this. I would have liked a bit more bonding of Nolan and Skyler in the beginning, it was a bit fast for me but that is just critizising on such a high level, I don't mind in the overall story.
