Well, the plot really thickened in this book. Which was nice. I also loved the pairing and that we got to see a human with more of a connection to the fated mates aspect than we had previously seen. I really liked the plot, the characters, and the spice. It's all around another really good book in this series.

I loved the world, and I loved the characters. Although, I want to shake them both for not just communicating, but that's kind of the point of the storyline. There's not a lot of suspense, but I'm guessing maybe something more happens in volume 2. Also, the guide at the end of the book makes me think that there is just a lot to come. There are so many orders and monsters that were not discussed in volume one. Again, high hopes for volume 2 which I'm so excited to read.

The MMC was underdeveloped, and their romance was underdeveloped. The plot was so-so, and the spice was not great. It was an acceptable book. I did finish it.

The mouth on this man! The dirty talk and whirl wind romance is really the entire premise of this book. The plot is lacking. However, the dirty talk, smut, and cringey (in a good way) insta-lust makes up for it. I absolutely loved this book and will be rereading it. It's important not to go into this with high expectations for anything other than the focus of the book (dirty talk and smut).

I really liked learning the other half of the Lily/Alex survival journey. It felt like the author completed that loop and developed the world a bit more. The romance between Alex and Auzed was cute. I love a good, grumpy MMC.

It's not as good as the first book, but it's still a really great read. The characters were great and had lots more world building in this book. I love the series and will be continuing it.

This was a billionaire romance done right. I tend not to enjoy them because the mmc always seems to just buy things instead of doing things. But this man was capable. I loved the power dynamic. The obvious daddy issues and the daddy kink did cross a bit too fat for me, along with the obvious grooming. However, it worked for these two characters. The spice was hot. I couldn't put it down.

Another great book from this series. I really loved the plot of this one, and the MMC was complex in a way that made you want to keep learning more about him and this adventure.

This was a decent read. The premise was good, but I feel like it lacked in execution. It's not really a memorable read.

It was a good change up to have a different setting for the third book of this series. Also, a different race of clecanians and getting to see more of the world, which the series is set it. I really enjoyed this pairing.
