Honestly, I had to force myself to get through this book. Lily is such a one-dimensional character. Literally, her entire character is just her sex addiction. I get that addiction can take over someone's entire life, but she had absolutely no personality outside of it. She didn't care about school, her family, or anything. All she cared about was getting off, and she was so whiny about it too. I felt her addiction was supposed to give her a little leeway but even setting it aside she was just a downright awful character to read about. She had nothing going that made me want to root for her. Lo was a little less annoying, but he still wasn't a character I particularly enjoyed reading about. I also think it was pointless to make them start dating for real, because it felt like nothing in their relationship changed once they got together other than the fact that they were having sex. The relationship itself was ridiculously boring. It was sex and angst. Lily and Lo were toxic for one another and I will give the writer props for not romanticizing what they had. The only reason I didn't give this 1 star was because Connor Cobalt was a saving grace. This book could've been way shorter than it was, and felt like a poor attempt at writing an edgy and original book that fell flat.
