2.5 stars. Fast paced and some good plotting but not worth the hype.

3.5 stars. I don't know what it is about me, but I cannot get enough of books about tightly-knit neighbourhoods and over-achiever parents and how they all have secrets and everything unravels.

Dreadful.

Such an anti climax after pages and pages and pages of juvenile nonsense. Decent premise, disappointing delivery.

I feel like I'm being too generous. Book started well and then draggggggedd with terrible writing and awful clichés until I really didn't care at all about the plane crash. Hoped the ending would redeem it somewhat but noooo, it made it even worse.

I need to stop (I know I never will) reading books that call themselves psychological thrillers because I am unerringly picking the worst ones.

This was actually a 4-star read but I docked a star because I was uncomfortable with how the author wrote about autism. A lot of it seemed terribly ableist. I'd like to read more reviews on that perspective.

Not as good as the first two but I need more in this series
